Last December, I took what is still one of my favorite images to date - a simple, intimate portrait of my 4 girls. Since Calista is home from college for Christmas, I decided to recreate that image a year later. Same location, lighting, posing, processing, and even clothing. Even little Sylvie is wearing the same dress she wore last year! One of the benefits of her being a very petite little girl. I love how it came out and wanted to share. I'll add last year's beneath it - it's a fun comparison. Sylvie has obviously changed the most being a baby last year and a toddler this year. Calista is a college student now and no longer a high school student. Camille got her braces off, and Octavia cut her hair that used to be down past her bottom. I love these sweet girls of mine and couldn't be more proud of them!
PLEASE NO CC ON THESE IMAGES. I AM 100% HAPPY WITH THEM AS THEY ARE.
I also have four daughters and know the emotion that a photo like this can muster. A beautiful creation for sure. It is great that they all wore the same dresses!
Now I am taking images of my grandchildren....man how time flies!

Totally beautiful and inspiring as always. I would love to see one of these with you included with all your girls some day. Look forward to seeing everything you post. Your images make my heart sing. Merry Christmas, Gladys
Ironically, I was just whiling away a few minutes, leafing through your flickr stream, and I favourited the older version of this photo. With your stream, I'm very picky, because if I applied my usual criteria for a 'fav,' I'd probably pick every photo. These two are exceptionally good. You have beautiful girls.
