I was fortunate to capture a lot of pictures during 2017. It's always challenging to select just 10 images from a full year's worth of shooting. Here are ten of my favorites (in random order) from this past year:

Fantastic images but your portfolio is huge and this is just a small sample. Your visits to state capitals and missions are splendid.

I've lived on the Palouse and while shooting it has become almost trivial to photographers, nothing ever captures its subtle and ever-evoking beauty. From Steptoe Butte? Nice.

This was the first pictures I captured as I approached the Broad. I captured many more pictures of the building (inside and out) during the couple of days I was in Los Angeles. But, this first one was my favorite.

Thank you...it was my first time visiting the Palouse. I was impressed.
I was concerned that I might leave with nothing. I drove up to top of Steptoe Butte on three occasions...a sunset, then a sunrise and another sunset. Fortunately, the light was nice for about ten minutes during my sunrise session. The sunsets fizzled out due to haze (from forest fire smoke). I'm glad I had three attempts at it...as it is one of the top landscape locations that I have visited--and I've been to quite a few!
