Hi Dave, no these were shot in Brooks, it seems like I was close, but mom would've had something to say had I gotten too close, Brooks is nice because your working distance is about half of what is allowed in other parks and getting into the river with them and on eye level makes things a lot different. It's not to say where I haven't had instances where bears have come too close, but you minimize those and work away from that and don't bother taking pictures. I've gone with photographers who push things further than I like, and I don't bother spending time with them anymore.
I keep coming back to look at these shots. Just love em. They are larger than my screen and I just scrolled to the right and noticed mom in the background for the first time. Makes them even better !
