I was hoping to shoot the supermoon on Sunday with the 100-400GM, but it looks like that’s out of the question, as I’d sold my A7r2 in anticipation of my A7r3 being delivered.

That happened to me today to. I arranged a day off today, stayed all day long at home and then they reschedule it to Monday, not even loaded onto their truck. I came to their pick-up office, 40 mins away and they told me it's not ready for picking up till Monday. I no longer can stay home next week so I asked them to hold so I can pick up.I hope they let me pick it up on Monday. Bestbuy automatically refunded me the overnight shipping fee due to the delay (I even did not request this refund). That's very nice of Bestbuy.

On Facebook and twitter, all UPS says is call the shipper. Well, the shipper, BH, says there’s nothing they can do. UPS won’t do anything but apologize. I;m screwed. Despite planning ahead and paying for 1 day shipping, it’s not coming till Monday when I;ll be out of town till Thursday night. Then UPS screwed up another deliver that was to arrive yesterday but now rescheduled to today. You can’t even blame the weather. Just incompetence.

^Bob I'd blame Black Friday....I think they (UPS) are just inundated and with nostril barely above water. Frustrating I know, I'm in the same big brown boat waiting on a 24-105.

Just another UPS delay, I even paid extra for a two-hour window, confirmed by UPS by e-mail and verified by phone for morning delivery, never showed up and now delayed until Monday.
Great way to run a business where there is no accountability.

I wish I could point to something like that Robert. I wouldn't be so peeved about this except that this has happened time and time again with UPS no matter the time of year. At least, that's been my experience.

Well UPS just updated my delivery from 12/4 to today and it says on the truck for delivery, so we shall see if they come through. Very rare for them to do Saturday deliveries. They must really be struggling with volume to be willing to deliver on Saturday.

Wish they do that for all the orders. Mine coming from a member got delayed as well. Hope to have it in my hands on my BD Tuesday. Ups really is not getting it done and I agree no regard for overnight shipping

Same here with a Sigma 135 I'm expecting. Was supposed to be here Thursday but got delayed till Monday... Now out for delivery.
I think they brought in guys to deliver on Saturday for stuff that was backed up this week. I have a shoot in 2 hours...fingers crossed that it magically shows up by then

Hmmm . . . UPS shows my A7RIII to be in Seattle yesterday. I sure hope they don't let it sit somewhere until Tuesday for delivery - that would make me pretty mad.

I know from experience how frustrating waiting can be.
I waited for delivery of my Leica M9 about 3 months, Sony NEX-7 about 4 months.
To tie me over I also got an NEX-5N back then right away.
That turned out to be an extremely lucky choice.
Sony A9 - no wait at all. The A9 keeps me from ordering an A7r.3.

UPS came through and delivered it at 12:45 today! Waiting for the battery to charge.

Glad you got yours. Mine was updated from yesterday to Monday and then changed to today. It says it is out for delivery since 9:35 AM. UPS truck drove past my house without stopping, but did stop at house next door. When I ran to ask if he missed me some how, he said he is just doing overnight deliveries now and would be back later.
Well creeping up on 3:00 and still no UPS. Soooooo... 18 hours of waiting for signature required package and still counting. Maybe I should apply for one of the jobs that they are trying to fill so I can get paid for sitting around with my thumb up my a$$ instead of doing it for free

Had a package that was supposed to be picked up by UPS as an Amazon return. They made no attempt for 4 days. I called each day and finally told them that if I wasn't home to leave the shipping label and to please, just get it done. On this Thur. when I got home there were 3 labels with 3 different tracking numbers for the same package. lol So when my A7RIII came on Friday I gave them my outgoing. Crazy.

I think UPS may have a group of new drivers. So many of us have delayed or confused deliveries or pickups. I had a delivery on Friday which came just after 8pm and was a new very young driver. UPS usually gets here late afternoon. They also had my A7RIII on a truck for delivery all day Friday but around midnight took it back to their garage and rescheduled for Monday..At least that is what the tracking log says. I am not really upset because it is a complex process and this was an unusually busy week for them.
