No, it isn’t.
I bought NEX-7, A7r, RX1RII - All ahead of the US. There are a few instances when new stuff debuted in the US ahead of EU and elsewhere but not always.
The 24-105 is already available. I am tempted.

Yes, vignetting will be strong at 24mm f/4. I don't think there is a way around that. The Canon version performed similarly in this regard, plus it had high distortion/CA.

What will be interesting as we have seen in there zooms like the 12-24,24-70 GM is there very good on the wide side but start losing it on the long end. In a way if we all know a zoom can’t be great on both ends but I prefer it stronger on the wide side as I have more killer primes in the 65,85,135. If this will do great at 24-70 than it could be a winner. I’ll wait a bit till it’s out. I get a Tammy 24-70 2.8 G2 on Friday to hold me over for awhile.

It could be I maybe a little late in getting it at first wave so I’ll see how you folks test it out and decide.im starting to get into some big jobs so just keeping a safe buying bing right now. I’m getting the A7rIII so that will take up my time testing
