She likes shooting with two cameras for a 28/60. It never made sense to me.

Fred, your images are priceless. Hope order is soon restored.
I'll be ordering the 40 FE tomorrow.
Can I help anyone with an Adorama affiliate %age?
Rob

Thanks Rob,

Here are all the links from the site but I believe it's backordered at Adorama:

Great shots Fred. Looking at that other camera, is that a Canon 40mm I see? A 40mm family!!

Yes, that's a Canon 40/2.8 but on that crop sensor it's more like 60mm.
My wife keeps reminding me that my A7R3 + 40/1.2 is much bigger than her Canon set-up. I told her that she is actually shooting with an equiv. 60/4 lens against my 40/1.2 but she still think I'm lying.

Isn't the crop factor 1.6x on Canon? So, I guess that would make 40 = 64mm more or less. You should try it against the Voigtlander 65/2 and see if the field of view is the same. Then check which performs better....

Forgot about that 1.6x...only Canon has that APS-C crop factor!
Yes, I should compare it against the CV 65/2...if the Canon is better, I may switch.

Can someone suggest minimally-sized camera bag, which will fit A7RIII and CV 40/1.2 without waste of unused space?

This is the point. I don't need bag where I can take something else! I have number of bags which can serve well if I want take extra.
I am looking for comfortable use bag, which will fit body with CV 40/1.2 (and maybe spare battery) and will be minimal.

Shipping notification from BH received - Thursday can't come quickly enough!

On another note, dug through the piles of stuff in my closet and found an old vented 52mm hood. Score!

Anyone have any ideas or guesses as to why there is such a significant front filter size disparity between the M and FE mount versions if they are in fact the same optical formula?

I also have the Mirrorless Mover 5 but the A7R3+40/1.2 combo is too big for it. I used to use this small bag for the RX1RII.
