Honestly depends. I do often shoot it at lower apertures, but will also shoot it at f5.6 or f8.
Just depends on what my mood is when I take it out or what the goal is.
It’s native to many digital mounts. What do you mean “the most out of”? Have you looked at the MANY excellent digital images in this thread?

Shooting at f1.2 is what awakens this lens, plenty of 3d pop and sharpness. If I want to isolate a subject I do open up to f1.2 without any hesitation.
