Very nice, really good quality macros in my opinion.
I'm curious, how wide is that green cactus? is it like 2cm wide maybe?
Trying to feel the scale
Thank you. I used a tripod this time.
The red cactus is about 55mm in diameter. The green cactus is approximately 25mm wide at its widest.

Ach, perfect, thank you for confirming this.
Now it helps me to decide that I need Raynox M250
I just received Marumi +5 yesterday, tested it and while it brings it up loser, its not as close as I would like to, so it is going back to Amazon. Also, marumi I got form Amazon was dirty, had spots on glass I couldn't clean, really bad quality, so I need to return it anyway. More and more often nowadays when I buy something from Amazon, I get some previously used items, seriously, world is going to crap...
Lurking for a Raynox 250 now, not much options here in UK...
What do you think so far? I did something similar and thought the Sigma was spectacular for the size and price. I probably would’ve bought and kept the Sigma 35/2 in 2018 during my 35mm hunt if it was out then.
I figured if I was going to need AF over the CV 40, might as well go all out with f1.4 and a wider FOV for the events and people I typically need AF for.

I’ve been testing side by side a Sigma 35/2… the Sigma is a neat little lens with AF, but it can’t compare to f1.2…

I was deciding between adding either the Sigma 35/2 or the 35GM. The size and price of the Sigma made me go for that first, and I figured I could have both the CV40 and 35i in my bag for less than the price of the GM. The Sigma and CV40 are close in size and use the same filters. But the field of view and degree of focus are pretty noticeably different to me. So while I like the signs 35i a lot, I’m not sure yet whether it’s the right choice for me.
