Thanks for that - this image sent me down memory lane. First camera was a Yashica TL Electro-X, which is (I believe) the model that preceded this one in their SLR line, and was the first with an electronic shutter. I learned everything on that camera & used it for 15 years. The lens was quite good & made very sharp Kodachrome-64 slides.

Cool Unfortunately this one is just an ornament - severe light leaks & a faulty advance winder.....
Looks like I'm sticking with the fully manual FX3 2000 then I know that works well, I've had it since the mid 90's from new.
I went for it... Been eyeballing this lens for a couple of years now and today, it arrived...This is the SE version. Weather is acting up so this what all she wrote for today.... Your's Truly....
