@grahamgibson - I live about 100 miles north of PUR.
Been trying to figure out my CV MF kit gapping. Have the 15 and just bought the 21/3.5 - landscape & travel w/ A7C. have owned the 40 and 65(twice) in the past. thinking either 35 & 50 APOs or 40 & 65.

Beautiful place! With the young kids, we chose to mostly stay on the ranch, but I'd love to explore the surrounding area more and do some hiking/backpacking.
How do you like using manual focus on the A7c? I usually use the viewfinder with my CV40, but the A7c's is quite small.
I have the CV15 and CV40. I don't intentionally have a MF or AF kit, I just pick up the lenses I like. The gap between these two can be kind of wide sometimes, but on an R body, I can crop the 15mm quite a bit. The CV21 fits closer to my typical desire for 2x focal length gaps in primes with the CV40, though I've never found enough use for ~21mm primes personally. It always feels too wide or not wide enough if that makes sense. I used to carry the CV15, Sony 28/2, and Sony 55/1.8 before I got the CV40.
The Sigma 90i looks like a great little lens for the A7c to have a longer focal length. CV15, CV40, and Sigma 90i could be a good kit. Or swap out 15mm for 21mm depending on what you prefer.
The EVF is small but bright enough for peaking to work well. I use MF on the Sigmas often for still objects/landscapes .. not because the AF is bad .. I just prefer to select what is in focus. Hoping the A7CR gets a larger/higher magnification viewfinder but I think all they might do is bump the sensor resolution which does not require any changes to the overall structure tooling. Maybe they can increase the NITS on the panel .. i do use the articulating panel feature for certain shots.
