Unfortunately, mine is getting more and more problematic. Earlier in the thread I mentioned that the distance scale on the camera screen changes distance by itself even if I don't move the focus ring. Also that it sometimes jumps out of the magnifying mode by itself. Lately the aperture blades have gotten stuck three times. So far turning the aperture ring back and forth with caution has loosened them again, but these problems make me not to want to use it any more. The worst part is that it turns out that the previous owner bought it from USA so I'd have to send it there to have it repair under warranty.
First post on this page- recently purchased this lens following a consolidation of others and I love it. This rose was shot at 1.2. The exit data states 1.3 tho, and I’m not even sure that’s possible…?

Check your in-camera settings -- might be set to 1/3 stop increments. I run into this with my Canon EF 50/1.2L as well. The camera is cutting 1/3 stop. You may need/want to readjust when using other lenses to get the most out of f/1.2 lenses shot wide open.

Not sure what is wrong with me. I go and spend a whole bunch of money on a new Sony a1 because it is the fastest, best AF camera in the World. Then the first image I post from the camera is a manual focus, single shot. One would expect BIF image or something to do with fast action. But, I just love this lens, the glow and rendering it produces wide open. It also has amazing sharpness stopped down. A lens with multiple personalities.
I am in the process of setting it up with all the custom buttons and stuff. So working on the manual focus part I tested on this flower my Wife has on the kitchen island. So, maybe it makes a little sense.
Love this lens. Really want to move to the Fuji ecosystem since I love my x100f and the shooting experience of the Fuji's. Might have to keep my A7ii just for this lens
We`ve been to Brda (Collio) a couple of weeks after the Giro`d Italia went through - the signs were still there, not to be missed, in every village there were several pink painted old bikes on display... A nice contrast to the old villages.
On a walk today I saw this old rusted lantern up against a Mediterranean blue color wall. I collect little details like this, so I decided to add this one. As is often the case my CV 40mm f/1.4 was mounted for the walk.
