It is probably best if you read the thread on the Tech Art AF adapter for Sony. As a short summary, the adapter is quirky and more than a few fail after awhile. Using the Leica M mount version of the lenses will also often result in some reduced performance of the lens especially in the edges and corners. Some love the Tech Art AF adapter and others are quite frustrated by it.
