I think Fred may be an evil genius for creating such a great site. After MONTHS of almoooost clicking the buy button on this lens, I finally succumbed and the little beauty is waiting for me in my mailbox. My fourth Voigtlander in 2 months. Like I said, Fred’s an evil genius. 🙂
Tempted to get the new 75/1.5 to complement my 21/3.5 and 40/1.2, but since those are E mount I'd prefer it if the 75mm were too and I rarely use longer focal lengths, so it's probably best to try and wait.

The slight haze to the right in #2 is because I accidentally got a fence wire in front of the lens.

I turned that feature off. I assigned a custom button to magnify when “I” choose to do so. It’s much nicer that way.
For the longest time that is how I used it, but having to cycle through one more magnification level before getting back to the default mode is frustrating, so I thought I'd give the MF assist workflow a try (I can exit magnified mode with a quick shutter half press).

Great shots and you should! thats basically my primary setup .. just got the 75/1.5 to go with my 21/3.5 and 40/1.2
Hi all. I'm planning to buy the CV 40 and am interested in knowing about its copy variance. Can you tell (asking everyone) how many copies have tried before the definitive and why you sent back the previous ones? Thanks.
