Graham, nice images, tried to see your aperture setting on Flickr but nothing. Can you let us know the f stop? Thx
Thanks! I made a mistake exporting these without meta data. These recent images were shot at f1.4. I stopped down a bit to improve sharpness/contrast (and give me a bit more DOF breathing room), though I think I should have just left it at f1.2 to avoid the angular bokeh. In most circumstances, I don't notice them at f1.4 (like the umbrella image), but with the Christmas lights they're pretty apparent in the background.

Did you use LR prests on this or your own edits? Interesting coloring.
Never bought pre-made presets. Everything is my own edits. I have bits saved such as tone curves, some HSL etc just to get me started but I like to shoot few & edit individually.
After buying this lens back in April and then returning it as I realised I cant MF my kids I have ended up purchasing again. I now have an RX1RII which can be my AF body when I am using the CV40 for things that dont move much. Hopefully that will work out for me. The images in this thread were too much of a draw!
Weather has been poor since it arrived so not got much to post yet. Could have done with a bit more DOF in this but you know what its like when you get a new fast lens. Seems to be stuck on f/1.2 at the moment!
