Got mine yesterday after a month of wait! Love the feel so far! f1.2 it really pops and at f4 sharpness and contrast are just WOW.
Question, what are some of the basic tests to try and make sure its a good copy?

Hear comes another 100 pages on this lens.
Seriously Happy for all that are finally getting it and just to say you will love it. Its the lens cap for me.
Yep - keep'em coming. I enjoy looking at the output from this lens. I ordered mine from Camera Quest yesterday so I hope I made it into the current shipping batch.
2 * arctan (43.3 / 2xFL) where 43.3mm is the full frame diagonal size. You may use 24mm or 36mm if you want to find out the vertical or horizontal AOV respectively.
There other sites, apps or even your lens' specifications to use as reference.
I had 40 minutes of free time while waiting a friend in airport, so I decided to use the time to code AOV/FOV visualizator. Now everybody who wants VISUALLY compare angle of view and field of view how their different focal lenght lenses match with each another can do it here: https://vahonen.info/fov/
PS. Please no jokes for stick man or her/his camera holding technique

Samuli
The fact that you coded this in 40 mins boggles my mind, but thanks for doing it! Its pretty handy. I have bookmarked it

@Samuli Vahonen, 15, 21, 35 and 85mm seems well spaced by looking at the "Field of View" Illustration but the "diagonal difference" between these focal lengths are very different. Alternatively, if I plot 15, 25, 40 and 85mm (which have similar diagonal difference), the FOV illustration does not show them evenly spaced. What do you think?
I called Mainline yesterday. They said that they are about to be sent from Japan, so might get it in about 2 weeks. I am now going to hold my breath until arrives!!!

Tried to contact Adorama for a status update as I've been on order since early March - they are closed till the 7th :-(
Adorama will not get any Voightlander until Photo Village does Same for B& H. Photo Village is the East Coast distributors for Voightlander and they supply Adorama and B& H. I know Rich very well from Photo Village. I’ve been saying this for months and folks completely are ignoring this fact. Keep checking there site than if you see it in stock figure two days before the retailers get it. I actually went in to Photo Village to buy my 40 than 2 days later it was finally in stock at the retailers.

Do any of you master lens testers ever use a clear/UV filter to protect the lens?
Never have used UV filters. Here is my feeling even a eighty dollar filter over a 1200 lens is not going to help the IQ in anyway shape or form. Protect your front element sure but I would never test or use them unless I’m in a bad environment that could damage the element.
Same here. My view on "protection" filters is: use one when you can put your finger on what you're protecting it from. Blowing sand, salt spray, waterfall spray...sure, those are good reasons. Otherwise, no. Keep the cap on till you're ready to use it if you're in a crowded area where kids might touch it or some such thing.
