(Cross-post from Nikon Zf image thread.)
Last evening I went to shoot some stars with my daughter, but nature had it's own idea of an amazing show. Haven't see this amazing auroras even in Lapland. This was only 1.7km from our home, by the still frozen lake Vitträsk in Southern Finland. I've just switched from Fuji to shoot with Nikon Zf as my main camera (my daughter used my Fuji X-T30II that I kept) and the first lens I got was the Voigtländer 40mm f/1.2 Nokton. Don't have any wider lenses YET, so this had to do. And oh boy it did...

Very inspiring images! 👏 I miss this lens from time to time since I sold it back in 2018, going to hunt a used copy someday!
thanks! I actually looked for a used copy of my version 2 but couldn't find one, so I bought it new for $1235, thinking that if I didn't like it I could easily sell it. Fortunately turns out I love it. So so happy I pulled out at the last minute from getting th $10K 35 nocti.
It is a simple HSL layer set to sepia with 35 default and just 4%, I am trying to match the prints I make using the QuadTone Rip. Glad to help it you have any other questions.

Thanks. I really like the tone of your photos.
I recently switched to Nikon and I'm trying to find a preset - I haven't found one anywhere - that would be imitate Adox CHS 25 Art and Ilford FP4, my favorite films from the past, developed in Rodianal formula (ADOX ADOLUX APH 09)...I don't know if there is such one or is it possible to create one, but it would be nice to see the effect in the viewfinder while shooting.
