I normally leave the camera holstered when we're at the airport or on a plane, but I had a great window seat, clear skies, and a magnificent view of the Alps from the aircraft. I got so excited, I forgot to change the aperture, so this was taken fully stopped down.
Still in Barcelona, this day was marred by the wife getting sick. We never left the hotel, so I took this shot of the hotel room lights because I thought they were cool.
I was playing around with the internal color filters on this lens while shooting BW jpg images today. I don't think the yellow filter is much different than no filter at all, but I still like how this one turned out. The orange filter does show increased contrast and darkens the image quite a bit.

It was a rainy, low energy day. Because of this, our daily walk was much shorter than usual, and in fact I didn't even bring along my camera. That means... gear porn.
