Thank you to all my friends here. I was expecting more rejection since this image is way hotter than I have ever posted here. And to win on any given week when Klaus posts an image with a lightning strike in it is quite unusual.
Great work. As far as being "too hot", as those of us who frequent those parts know sometimes it is and this looks like you were lucky enough to be there and capture it perfectly.

That's true! It was blazing that evening, though like many of us, I interpreted the scene to accentuate that. Even I thought the jpeg was hot, but the print looks very real.
