This might be the most photographed beaver pond in the western US. I have been shooting it since 2008 and never see it the same way. It has changed a lot over that time. Hope you like it, Comments and critique welcome.
Ben - I really like the composition - it is nicely done. And the light is right. And the focus seems right. It is a good image.
But for me the photo is over processed. Whatever settings you had on HDR went to far for my taste because there is no shadows left in the trees. If this is your intent, as opposed to bit closer to how you would see it, then fine but for me its processed too much.
What I usually do is - process HDR, and then blend with single image exposed (usually 2/3) and in this case I would layer the mountains and up the exposure and layer mask and then paint in the mountain behind to keep it there but have proper shadows.
