I thought this guy was going to fly straight into the window of my truck from which I was shooting, he veered off at the last moment and provided me with lots of head on shots.
This shot is powerful, awesome intensity and light, you nailed it buddy!! Love the feather tips leaving a mark in the sand, this is a great one sir!!

What a great shot Louie! Your crop is perfect, assuming there is one, and the layers of water and sand make a nice backdrop for the head on look. That the eagle is low to the ground only adds to the, "coming' at you look."
great shot - like the color , composition and sharpness - great image of a moment of peak action .
The white at the top of the image does cause me to focus on it as well as the main subject but I assume it is clouds and adds to the overall environment of the image

Many thanks Karl, I was very surprised and shocked at how this eagle came directly at me and for once I was ready.
