We own a cabin and 11 acres near Bigfork, Montana and are spending the summer up here. It has been SO fun having totally new environments and locations to work with! These are totally random but I wanted to share a few of the images I've made while spending the summer up north. Many more to come!

I've always wanted to do a fairy shoot with Sylvie, but the desert we reside in usually doesn't really scream 'fairy.' Her name means 'one who dwells in the forest' so it was a lot of fun to play around with that theme in a suitable location.
You will get a 1000 likes (deservedly so) but, #13 might be one of the best photos you have ever posted. Thank you for sharing your family with us! (super jealous of your skills and locations!)
Yeah, #13 is pretty nice, so I can't really disagree with cliphe on that, but there are several others (particularly those of Sylvie) that grab me much more.
Way too much awesomeness in your images! Thank you for sharing these.
Lisa,
As so many others have already stated, your work is impressive beyond words. You may not want to share, but I'm curious how you can perfect your lighting so well on these shots? Do you have people helping out with reflectors and such?
Thank you so much! @FunkyPDB, I never use reflectors. I do have a family member helping me when photographing the younger kids in the way of getting them into the right place, etc, but no reflectors or outside lighting are used. I am always looking for pretty pockets of light. 😊
Subdued processing... yet still wow. Sylvie continues to amaze -- 6, 8, and **10** are my favorites of her. Is that Huck Finn in #12? Wonderful set, Lisa.
Thanks guys! @Ernie Aubert, I have those edited in color also but I liked the contrast and lighting in black and white. I printed the first one for our cabin and love it!
I"m reporting you to the PPA for multiple violations for imagery that's way beyond mere mortal creative ability. I'm sure they will be at your cabin next week to confiscate your creativity.
Despite the need to report these violations, I did vote. Wish I could vote one time for each image that is beyond freaking amazing. Seriously... you're pissing me off.
If I may offer a suggestion... I find the face treatment too harsh on the #9 and #19a b&w images. The girls look old, and sad. In #9 opening the shadows on the sides of the face would help a lot. The high intensity triangular highlight gives the impression the girl is emaciated and sick.
