I have no dog in this fight. Heck, I even curl up into the fetal position when my wife asks me to take photos of the kids (I am not a portrait photographer . . .basically, if it involves posing-I am out). That being said, if my wife ever wants photos of the entire family, I am booking a session with you.
Looking at the pics of Sylvie and then comparing to 19a of your other daughters it is clear that you do not make any different PP edits to Sylvie's eyes. They are unique and should not be "toned down" in any way.
Enjoy life, enjoy family and keep the pictures of Sylvie (and her eyes) coming!

My point was that it would look much better (IMO) if her eyes were toned down to match the rest of the image.
Just an opinion, nothing more, nothing less.

Very few (percentage wise) people have red/orange hair. Should photographers edit those subject's hair so that it doesn't immediately grab your attention? You know, turn them into brunettes or blondes?
What about people with muscular physiques? We wouldn't want them standing out from the crowd. Better tone down those muscles in post!
Freckles? 'shop 'em out! GONE!
Get real, man. You're advocating muting physical characteristics that make people UNIQUE. Why in the world would you want everyone to fit inside of a box (of YOUR creation) which denounces that which makes us different, and beautiful, and instead homogenizes everyone? You've got it all wrong! Diversity should be CELEBRATED, not eliminated.
Incredible set - thank you for sharing these Lisa! I have many favorites and I can see why #13 is so popular, but #12 is the one I stared at longest - beautiful!

I agree 13 is particularly lovely.
My mouth was agape from moment one -- fantastic photos -- but #13 is the one I stared at the longest. Very evocative; and worth all the praise it's getting (as are the rest). Thanks for sharing.
Being in Arizona (I think that's where you are), how do you know there aren't any poisonous creatures in the higher plant life? Yes, this is a serious question, as I notice you have a lot of shots in fields with higher growing flower beds.
This is a beautiful series Liza! As always I won't venture into picking which is my favorite, they're all stunning. Happy that you are posting B&W's, love them. Some of your images remind me of images I saw in Life magazine years ago. Thank you so much for sharing.

Wow. I've been in a bit of a photo hiatus. Just seeing these photos makes my hands itch to pick my camera up. Not that I'll be able to produce anything a hundredth as good, but seeing such excellent photography of such wonderful subjects is always inspiring. Thanks for sharing it with us.
