Anyone with an A9 have their hotshoe come loose? At first I thought it was the flash coming loose but the actual physical hot shoe on the camera is starting to pull away from the camera when I have a flash or transmitter on top mainly on the left side.
I took the flash cover off to take a closer look and the hot shoe isn't screwed in from the top (I was hoping I could just tighten a screw and call it a day.) Instead it looks like it's screwed from from inside the body. Not sure I want to mess with it too much more before contacting Sony
Adam, did you get any info or a fix for this? One of my hot shoes just fell off tonight with a trigger attached and the second is really loose. Pretty ridiculous, right?

noticed this tonight on both of my a9's. Not happy about it.
So update on my 2 a9's. After another wedding I decided they wouldn't make it until the end of the season without breaking completely and I had to send them in ASAP. Sent them both in on Nov. 6. Precision Camera was amazing. The first one was back to me on Nov. 10 and the 2nd will be here tomorrow. Fantastic turnaround!
Can you share with us the $$$ amount that the fix cost you?
Mine is also loose and I'm sending to precision tomorrow.
Thanks
Stan
