I agree that 28mm focal length is being shafted in Z verse a bit. Or, simply that 28/1.4 came out as one of the last amazing F prime, then shift to Z avalanche happened, so that 28 does not even get a 1.8 to keep the 28/1.4 to be sold? I don't know. It is imminent that Nikon needs to address after the last two lenses on the roadmap this year IMHO.

I'm a big fan of this 28mm 1.4E, everyday I go and see if there's any being sold in B&S forum, but none show up

Like the 105mm f1.4E, it is one of the more recent f-mount lenses and so it makes sense that it is delayed with the update. I'm not as much of a fan as others with the 35mm focal length, but I think the 35mm f1.2S will be a hit if priced well and the 135mm f1.8S will no doubt do very well too. I suspect the following year or two we'll see updates to the 105mm and possibly the 28mm. Thankfully the 28mm f1.4E is still lightweight and does well on the FTZ.

That's strange, I can order it and have it shipped to Canada......but there are better prices to be had for sure if you are patient. I'd also keep your eye out for Vistek.ca. I bought my 105mm f1.4E from them at a reasonable price a few years ago. Hope it works out!
Thank you for the link molson, have you had any experience with Nikon's refurbished products?
I have read that it could go both ways, either you get an item in like new condition, or either you get an item that it's faulty or in not so great condition.
Anyway I plan on calling them tomorrow to enquire on the lens

No, I have no experience buying from them, but if they have a return period, there shouldn't be any risk.

That's hideously overpriced at $1900+ when you can buy one off ebay all day long for less than $1,000
