That's hideously overpriced at $1900+ when you can buy one off ebay all day long for less than $1,000
It was Canadian currency. So overpriced but not hideously so.
I doubt you will ever get an equal in the Z line. I have the 28/58/105 trio on a Z7/Z7II and a couple of Z lenses (50 1.8 and 70-200). The special "character" of these F mounts were unique in my view whereas the Zs are technically better but lack just a bit of the panache of these F mounts. Love that the Fred Miranda has these threads. The 28 has the best capability of shooting into the sun on any lens I have tried to date. The image earlier by Alexander is just brilliant and demonstrates what this lens can do in the hands of a very skilled photographer. If I can have only 1 lens this would be it. I sold it once before in favor of a Tamron 35 1.4 but missed that extra special, hard to describe "look." Reacquired and never will let it go again.
OhSnap,
If you can find me a 28mm f/1.4e under $1500 cnd, in mint condition, I would I ppreciate the link.
Duty fee's have to be part of the overall price.
Thank You.
Church of Saint-Nizier d'Accolay dates back to the mid-12th century. I know I must be crazy, who takes a portrait lens on overseas travel, but I love the way the lens renders even for landscapes.
Enjoying the small town of Mailly-la-Ville after the pace of Paris.
This image is more about slowing down and enjoying the moment and embracing small town France.
