Robert- Great capture of the Sandy!
Bob - Nice baldy to break in that 600.
Geoff - Love the light on the ducks and very nice to see some varied images other than flyers.
My first serious time out with the A9. Rented a GM 100-400 to confirm I want to buy it. Rainy day here in the Pacific Northwest on the Skagit River. The A9 doesn’t like extended exposure to the weather though. After a while kept getting the hotshoe contact warning screen, which caused some missed shots. Nonetheless, I’m amazed with the camera!
I am not contributing on a regular basis but here is an image taken with the A9 last weekend. Canon maybe lagging behind in term of sensor production but they certainly know how to make long optics. Even with a 2X TC, this lens still shines, at least for me and that with a 24MP camera and cropped, too.
Typical dim, rainy day here in the Pacific Northwest on the Skagit River.
My first real outing for wildlife with the A9. High ISO due to camera auto setting required a little NR work in post.
Rented the GM 100-400 to confirm that it is a must- have lens for my kit. Such a joy (minus the rain) to shoot this combo.
