I think if Sony continue their current GM trend then the lens will at least match the Nikon E FL price or go a bit beyond it. That doesn't bode well for my aspirations to own this lens as the Nikon FL is $14,600 CDN. I'll have to sell my Canon 600II and I don't think I'm ready to do that yet.

If so they are a rare and welcomed visitor to my neck of the woods---only bierd that
brings any type of yellow to us here.

Yes that is an American Goldfinch and I could see this tiny guy a 100 feet away while sitting on my deck...it is really, really bright!!
They are a treat.....and like most finches here they are a bit skittish.
Hey, sold my a6500 in anticipation of the replacment...my luck I'll be waiting a year, but last four trips I never used it. Should have at Conowingo but never thought to.
^love the light.
Glad I've got my first (AND only) Shoveler.
Got my first Bittern at Merritt. Would post but not with a Sony
Forgot to mention how fast civilization has encroached on Viera. We've watch the
yearly advance and the houses are now almost on top of it. A local said the bobcats
left last year. I think the bierds will keep coming but I'd be the otters are next to leave
Beautiful work as always Geoff.
I was farting and scratching waiting out a hawk and out of boredom this shot.
20fps almost gave me enough to stack a few shots in Zerene but the wings turned
out a bit goofy-
Sony ILCE-9
FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS + 1.4X Teleconverter

Tim, I'm going to keep my very torn jeans despite my wife's urging to get rid of it. Who knows, young people are paying premium for those things now as they appear to be fashionable.
