These shots are beautiful, astounding, interesting, and puzzling!
The puzzling part is how did you get the birds to pose close enough and hold still long enough to get these images? I assume you have a feeder with a blind, but even then these are amazingly close shots.
Regardless, seeing these birds so close and with such color, texture and detail is a real pleasure.
You seem to have found a way to get incredibly close. I'm thinking you are using a remote setup though there are other ways and you have demonstrated some great setups in the past.

Puzzling and amazing! Yes! I find a significant portion of Tony's images posted here are both These are at the point of giving up on what magic could have possibly been used, and just going full screen and enjoy in the view.
