I agree. I think they made a mistake by not including EVF tilt adapter option on the 100S. Right now I find myself choosing between 100S and 50S, and the tilt adapter is the feature giving me the hardest time.
The missing tilt adapter and the Sony A1 keep me from ordering the 100S.
Also I like the 50S and the images it produces a lot.

I know some people say that Fuji had to do this to make the GFX100s cheaper. Personally if one spends $6k on a camera and a one GF lens costs > $2k, then your typical buyer is not affected by spending $500 more on the body.

Perhaps the extra cost of including a removable viewfinder would have been offset by selling more tilt-adapters. I agree it was an odd move, but I guess they have to differentiate it from the GFX 100 somehow.
Thanks 😊. .. of three choices, I picked the right spot
It’s also interesting comparing the rendering of the Canon 70-200 2.8 ii vs Contax 100-300. Obviously the Canon with its speed and AF are a plus, but there is something about the Contax images.
That sunset is awesome. It has been boring sunsets here for more than a month now. One from last week at the San Gregorio beach. I was shooting at the Pigeon Point lighthouse and it was cloudy. All of sudden I see the sun peaking and drove to this beach to shoot from the higher vantage point.
Dang, that scene would explode nicely with deep B&W infrared. But I like it as it is - warm smooth evening light and tones.

I have found a lot of dead swans lately. I came by a sixth one just on Sunday when walking around a distant beach. Also found very unique textured rock which are not that common in Finland. It was rich in some type of ore and had corroded beautifully.
