Still trying to work the tilt part to get better at it. If someone has tips to make aligning the plane of focus, I would be happy to know. I think I used 5 deg of shift and 2-3 deg of tilt. I couldn't get the rocks and the light house in perfect focus.
First skip the shift. Then start adjusting tilt by focusing to the lighthouse abd checking foreground. If foreground is not in focus, adjust again. Repeat. You need to adjust infinity focus at some point again. You need to stop down to check results with every iteration. Wide open when tilting is challenging the lens even on FF body.
If you do reach acceptable result, good, your adapter is fine. If not, then register distance is wrong and sharp infinity will not be possible.
If you do reach acceptable result, remember that combining shift in there requires major stopping down on native canon body.
EDIT--
Rocks near camera are higher than the ones after them. That almost mission impossible without huge stopping down. I would use only shift and focus stack.

Dabbling in the GFX world again. 50S + GF 50/3.5
I like the ergos of the 50S over the 50R, but man I end up with a lot of nose prints on the screen!
I have a long nose and with the tiltable EVF, nose prints can largely be avoided. It sticks our far enough from the the back of the camera enough my nose doesn't typically touch the screen and if it starts to just a little tile upward avoids the issue. It is actually something I really like about the GFX 50s and the tiltable EVF.

Yes, I have been looking out for the tilt adapter. I think it would be beneficial for that and low shots as well.
Unfortunately no. In windy icy cold freezing conditions my EVF showed
a lot of jittery noise and I had to use the LCD for framing and focusing.
Once inside a warm place reseating the lit adapter was all it took to get it working properly again.
Other than that so far no issues. Knock on wood.
I wish Fuji continued this tilt adapter thing and made them up gradable over time. You can't use EVF from GFX100 on the GFX50s for example. It would have been cool if this was possible.

I agree. I think they made a mistake by not including EVF tilt adapter option on the 100S. Right now I find myself choosing between 100S and 50S, and the tilt adapter is the feature giving me the hardest time.
