This be funny. I get some stars in the stack pin-sharp (1 pixel size) where the Polaris is located. It happened again - trails are aliased all over. The lens outresolves the sensor easily @ f/5.6.

I tried downsampling the original stack parts to 6000x4500 and disabling all additional sharpenings. It made some difference and the trails look less brutal.
I also tweaked some settings for toning and such. But, if someone wants to do such stracks with GFX, I recommend downsampling the files in the stack, preferably with smooth bicubic setting. I might still swap to FF for these.
I've had the 50s for a few weeks now and loving it so far. I like the ergonomics and the handling a lot, including the tilt EVF adapter. I shot X-T series cameras for four years, before spending most of the past year shooting Sony, so Fuji is quite familiar.
The GF lenses I've tried all seem spectacular so far, but the 100-200mm might be my early favorite.
My only real downside at this point is that the depth of the body + viewfinder makes it a challenge to fit into existing bags. But a new backpack will fix that.
A couple of visitors to our bird feeder have provided some color in the middle of winter. My longest lens for my 50s is the GF 120mm macro, not exactly a birding lens, but it speaks to the image quality of this lens and its stabilization that I can crop in so close and still get a decent end result.
I'll continue that wave theme a bit with a shivering touch.
That's 50R + GF30 against the setting sun. If someone wonders how GF30 works against a bright light source. It also has a polarizer attached and the final image is 7-frame focus stack.

I don't really understand how this tiny and slow 50/3.5 can render so "large", but it sure does...

I'm not a cyclist, but I do like these shots you post with your bike in the frame.
