Hello Gang, I am celebrating my parents 50th Anniversary in a couple of months. I wanted to take a photo to match one done just after their wedding. I had to talk mom into doing a photo in the first place. That first photo had issues that I wanted to see improved, so I begged for a 2nd take.... after some arm wringing, she agreed. When I presented the image, she did not like how her collarbones looked in the dress she wore and then she asked me to retake a 3rd shot
This first image is a side by side of them 50 years ago and again just yesterday. after that I give you the full sized B/W. Enjoy

This is fantastic, Lee! The photo stands on its own, but as part of the larger story, it's just incredible! Well done!
On a side note, for some reason, the two of them look incredibly familiar to me. Your mom moreso than your dad - but him too. The feeling I'm getting is the same kind of feeling you get when you have déjà vu. Familiar, but you're not sure why.
Thanks everybody, I appreciate all your kind words. As my father struggles with his progressing Parkinson's, this shot was important for me and fun for all of us to pull off, it is great to see the smile on dads face at he can be a little "wooden" at times.
After the last post, I decided I was still a little hot on the highlights, so I tried to fix that a tad.....
