Thank you, Jim! I'm glad you enjoyed these. No wide-angle lenses were used here. On the 1st set of images #2 (Sandies fly-by) was shot with a zoom lens at 300mm, and #5 (Sandies reflection) was shot with the same zoom lens at 420mm. It was shot from across the pond i.e. some distance away.

I've never been to Bosque - and this set REALLY has me questioning my sanity. Your group take-off shots, the pure concentration of snow geese and sandies, really amazing! Outstanding and beautiful images here, Bobby. Really hard to pick favorites, but the wide angle reflection shots are just killer.

Thank you, Dave! #2 would have been even better if there were Sandies walking along the bank of the pond with their refections in the water ... like #5.

Wow! What a great set of images!
I don't think it gets any better than what you captured in #2
That one would be hanging on my wall if it were mine.

Thank you Louie! Truth of the matter and the irony of it all is that this was because of the mostly bad weather when we were there ... and the Sandies were all in Bernardo and not in Bosque. What this meant was that I've had to change tack. Instead of focusing on individual birds I focused more on environmental-type images. It turned out to be a refreshing change, and it paid dividends.

What an excellent set Bobby. I've been shooting there for a number of years and haven't gotten shots like these.
