There are quite a few good restaurants ... and good craft beer! We had dinner at Socorro Springs, Yo Mama's Grill, and Frank & Lupe's El Sombrero restaurants.

I keep coming back to this thread to see more and more amazing shots! Making me miss the cheese enchiladas from the Crane restaurant!
Thank you Don! This was my 5th visit and the least productive in terms of image capture ... no thanks to the mostly cloudy/gloomy weather = flat light. Still a lot of fun just to be there to watch the birds and the bees ... okay, there were no bees!.

Beautiful set of images you represented well. Haven't been there in years need to get back again.
Super set! Simply elegant and beautiful. Captures the essence of Bosque. Viewing your set of photos makes me wonder why its not even more of an attraction than it is. Could be the person behind the camera/lens.

Thanks! To be perfectly honest, I went there to shoot birds in flight and panning action ... but the lighting sucked for the most part (too flat because of the overcast/gloomy afternoons) so I am having to resort to environmental captures.

I've never been to Bosque - and this set REALLY has me questioning my sanity. Your group take-off shots, the pure concentration of snow geese and sandies, really amazing! Outstanding and beautiful images here, Bobby. Really hard to pick favorites, but the wide angle reflection shots are just killer.
