Nice set Scott. My personal favorite is #1 but I also like those angled trees in the other shot. I recently saw some photos on fb from here taken at night. If you get bit of fog or haze, the lights from the campground in the background look really neat shooting up through the trees. Just like sunrise. Any time you want to borrow my Sony for these cold weather conditions, just let me know.

Thanks Gary. I have tried this spot at night and been frustrated by the lights from the intersection on Highway 1 behind. It gives a reddish glow to the top of trees in long exposures. Which I had to reduce red in saturation and selectively paint out. I don't like unnatural light in my night shooting but I will look for the shot you refer to see what it looks like. Maybe I can try the spot at night again. Maybe I need to embrace the light. You are kind to offer your a7r, but I would have to borrow about 10 batteries too and make sure it does not fall in the river .
Glad you like the set. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

JameelH: Glad you like the reflections in 1. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Travis Rhoads: I think I need to be deeper into the river on 2 to make it work better and possibly lower down which creates logistical problems. Thanks for your tension feedback. I am glad you like 1. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
