When I photographed this woman and her husband in Habana Centro last month, I knew I would need to present three images to share this experience. While everyone I met in Cuba was very friendly, this woman was particularly lovely and engaging. In the last image here she is holding an instant picture of herself that my friend made with his Fuji instax moments earlier. Her man was enjoying seeing her get all this attention from us foreigners. After the shooting, we went in their home and saw that they ran a small business making prints from digital cameras! I think she may have been a model in a previous life. Her jewelry was nice as was her fingernail job.
Fantastic story and compositions Jeffrey! Exposures nailed and colors wonderful. I believe now that Cuban restrictions have been mostly lifted, it will be "the place for photographers" to head to.
