With business stuff slowing down for the year - I've had some time to go back and finish processing some of the images from earlier this year.
This was taken on a chilly night in the mountains of Patagonia this past April. As the sun had set - and the stars were starting to come out - the brilliant fall colors would stay visible until the very end. A blend of a few images - taken throughout the evening to capture the last light on the ground layers - finishing when the stars started to pop out. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for looking.
While I know that the ground layers are way too illuminated for a night scene, it's very easy to overlook it because of how spectacular this looks. Simply beautiful and epic looking. It's almost as if there is a celestial spotlight on the foreground and lower mountains. Really cool.
