I was out on the river, scouting for the eclipse. My eclipse images turned out pretty bad. However, I was near the river at dusk, so I took some experimental long exposures.
Nice series.....Blue Swirl is my favorite.....would be nice printed on the wall. What was your exposure on that one? I would love to have seen a more Macro version of the Green Over Maroon. The colors are so unusual I think it would make a good macro study. Did you take any like that? What river was this Thanks for sharing the tranquil series...
Fred: Thanks for the comment. It was a nice little reverie.
Don: Yes, getting out there is what counts. Nothing spectacular in these images, although I do like Blue Swirl as well.
Bodie Angels: I think the exposure on the Blue Swirl was a couple of seconds, didn't save the exif data. It was actually getting pretty dark out, so it was definitely a long exposure, as evidenced by the "swirl".
Kevin: Thanks for the comments. Boy, I sure am enjoying your images, man.
David: I too, like that texture, and the way the rocks lined up. Thanks, man.
DonHarris: I'll bet you can take good photos. These digital cameras are much easier than the film cameras, especially since you can pretty much review your images right after taking them. What a deal!
Nutek: Thank you for the comments, and keep on shooting!
