for LMT to M, i notice they have diff ones for specific focal length. I got one that says 50-75mm for the Voigt 75/2.5. However, when i screw it on and put it on the camera, it doesn't line up correctly once mounted. Any ideas?

I just buy the Leica Leitz ones off fleebay. Cheap enough (IIRC I paid no more than $50 each. They come on quite often, just set an alert) and solid construction and fit in the 3 different ones I got.
Plus they hold their values quite well. I sold 1 after a LTM lens acquisition didn't go through as planned and it was stored for over a year. I was even able to make a few bucks for my trouble.
If it has to be new, check out Novoflex. I've never had any problem with their products. Perfect fit every time.
