Here are a few recent Shorebird photographs taken mostly in Texas.
I like the variety in the species - I have seen most of these species before but photographing them is totally a different thing. A lot of thing goes into consideration (light, positioning, angle of view, mud/tide levels , background, alligators... ).
Dreamy-good set! Each is fine portrait with nice composition, good light and wonderful detail. You handled all the associated aspects very well. Considering how fast some of these shorebirds skitter about, you really created wonderful pictures.
Wonderful isolation of the subject but right at home where they belong along the shore. What a vantage point you had and took advantage of, these are superb I wouldn't dare challenge you on ID's so thanks for the lesson and ID's
Ha, that last one makes me wonder, looks like a lot under water/sand Cool!
