I tried but my phone refuses the app saying it is too new for it.

Is there some other way of resetting as the first part of your statement seems to suggest?

Techart no longer has firmware updates for the LM-EA7 on their website -- the Android version was uploaded a few threads ago -- but does anyone have the Mac version?

Alan, I don't think Techart released a Mac version for the LM-EA7 update. It's Android only. You might need to borrow a phone from a friend to update it.
