As happy as I am with my 85mm Batis the 135mm has always intrigued me as a telephoto to take along with my 85mm when I am traveling light for a portrait session. It's too bad TCs don't work as the 1.4x would be perfect.

I'm on a journey to replace sone of my Sigma i lenses with some Batis lenses.
I've had the Sigma 35/2 i for a while, shot it loads and it's perfectly competent but doesn't wow me, going to replace it with the Batis 40, i shoot a lot of car shows and the close-up will come in handy.
Replacing the Sigma 24/3.5i, probably used more for infrared (will continue to use Pantax K28/3.5), again the Sigma is ok, but doesn't wow. Already picked up a like new B25 for 275.

Congrats. Have the same Batis too, but you are missing the crown jewel of the line, the 135 f2.8. It was my first Batis when I got into Sony in 2018 and still is my favorite.

I use the A7RIV and A7CR 61MP APSc crop function with my Batis 135. The 26MP result is excellent, it' very convenient and you don't have to carry/mount a tc.
