The Batis 135 is just a joy to use. There was a crazy storm two days ago at the North Sea, with fine sand and saltwater in the air, and I didn’t have to worry about the lens at all. It feels like the lens is painting a picture with light and colors.

Why'd you sell it? The reason is still probably valid for you.
I sold it and purchased the 85 GM. Which I still own and like. But it’s a little heavy to travel and walk around with.
I was thinking about using the Batis alongside the 24mm GM or 16-35GM II as a light weight travel combo.
My main concern is initial focus acquisition and accuracy. Sometimes photo opportunities are fleeting when walking around a city. I know it’s not going to be XD linear motor quick. But I remember on my older bodies, sometimes the Batis wasn’t the fastest.
I don’t need fast frame rates or anything like that. Just a reliably focusing light 85mm
