I posted a B&W version of this classic Hollywood-style portrait in the big FE image thread. In addition to that, I am including the color version here. Which one do you like better?

Beautiful images as always! Personally, I prefer the B&W one.
Overall I prefer the colour version except the red background is too strong for my liking. I might even select it and try various changes to see what works better.
The B&W is more harmonious, partly because the background tones in better, but lacks a bit of dimensionality in the face, due to the lighting I suspect. Not quite Hollywood '30s butterfly lighting -- but close.
Beautiful subject, beautiful pose, beautiful photo either way. These are just fine points of reaction in case they are of any help.

I prefer the colour one. For me, it's not even close.

Very hard to pick perhaps the colour one. Let's say you were going to print and hang it, then let the room decide It's a wonderful picture

I agree with Rob.
Maybe a version with the reds de-saturated a bit -- the skin also seems too pink to be realistic.
Great picture, regardless! Great work!

The color one is eye catching. Jim
Thank you very much for your feedback and kind comments, everyone! I don’t take portraits in a (rented) studio that much. I always enjoy playing with various lighting setups, applying various themes of the model/outfits. In general I prefer doing that using available light where we can play with the depth-of-field significantly more so using a fast lens.
Here are a few of a complete stranger that I asked politely whether she would pose for me and she obliged. I did send her the images. I just had a single lens that day and whatever I had would have to do it.
