These are some jaw-dropping images lately - very impressive! Kudos to everyone and please, keep it up!
Here is an image from the inside the cabin I stayed at in Lapland under the glass portion to view the northern lights or just about anything else. Yes, we did see some auroras from the cabin later on that evening/night.
Sent my 85 GM back and keeping the Batis 85... 1/2 the weight, focuses quicker (the AF on the GM was pretty lame IMO, stuttered a lot, reminded me of my old Sigma 85/1.4 non art, amazing images, frustrating uncertain AF, although it nailed focus) plus I save $600.
I have the new FE 85/1.8 on pre-order (mostly because I love the focus hold button, use it for eye AF) Then I can decide between the two later...
Some don't, but I like the bokeh from the Batis 85...
I'm not a landscape shooter at all. However, on a drive back from a weekend with family, I couldn't ignore this light. Pulled my family over and snapped a few images with the A7RII and Batis 25mm.
Here are two images from yesterday at my neighbor's slope using Batis 25mm. The second image was deliberately processed on the softer side and yes, it is a crop. Thank you!
