I, for one, never get tired of the Painted Hills. More so than some other popular locations, everyone always seems to come up with their own unique view/interpretation of the place. This ultra wide take is cool in it's all encompassing view. I like that you included the cars and shelter for scale and the extra grass framing the foreground is a nice touch.
I also like the wide perspective and foreground grass. I love seeing how everyone interprets this area. So many possibilities from super tele to super wide, along with all the variations in weather.
Very awesome perspective here. I can really feel like I'm there and see what's all around. What an amazing place. You've captured it perfectly. Best photo I've seen of this area.
Thanks all for your kind words and comments. Much appreciated! Dave

Thanks Heron - don't get me wrong. Sometimes I take things for granted only because it becomes a routine (I probably drive by the PH entrance 2-3 times a month on my motorcycle adventures). But I still marvel at its pristine beauty! This is also one of my favorite views as well.

One of the reasons why I love shooting the Painted Hills!

Hey Dave,
Nicely done here. This really works well, I like the clouds and softer light and how they compliment the hills well.
Jim
Thanks Jim! I think I lucked out as the PH's shine more in the afternoon light, which can easily get harsh!

Dave, this is cool. I have been there so many times, but haven't shot this perspective. Another reason to go back and explore more.
Glad you like it! There are many more perspectives that I've never seen posted that I want to try as well.
