p.1 #1 · Waterton - Cameron Falls and Northern Lights
I have not posted for awhile because I have been too busy having fun. A weekend or so ago I went to Waterton National Park (in Canada just above Glacier US Park).
The weather was coldish and I was camping (clamping in my trailer actually with a furnace, toilet, and fridge actually) with my beloved so I did not get out as much as would normally.
Here are my best pictures from the weekend.
Waterfalls are not my normal fare - so be merciful.

Comments and feedback are appreciated. Scott
1 - Cameron Falls right inside Waterton Town - 1 minute from the Campground by foot- with 10 stop nd
2 - The Northern Lights came out - Amazing at almost the south Canada Border

Nice set, Scott. My only suggestion is, for the 3rd pic crop off the bottom dark part of the picture. I find that adds not much to the pic itself and by cropping, the picture will have more balance.

Scott - very nice as usual. I quite like the first shot and the length of exposure is perfect. Great to see you also caught the aurora. I (very unexpectedly) caught an awesome show a few weeks back while out shooting MW.

Wonderful set and all different from each other.
That is one of the nicest waterfall pictures I have seen posted here.
The movement of the water is perfect

Very nice set indeed! Each are very well composed and executed.
You nailed the waterfall shot IMO. Some blown highlights but the overall image is so nice, I think that can be overlooked.

Hi Scott
Your waterfall pic is the one I like. The outcome rendering is very nice.
This is a photo that has an "I wish" element to it from my pov. I wish that I could have gotten closer, looked down into the water, without the foreground limbs and rocks and tightened up left and right. Therefore emphasizing the water shape and movement.
I would also say that this is a well done photo of static elements in the scene (even though the water is moving). Not the best way to say that but it's as if you are standing in front of a stage and done a very good job placing and balancing objects. I think it is important to notice when making that type of composition. Nothing wrong there at all. I found and find myself doing this A LOT! But becoming aware of movement in a scene/photograph is worth exploring. The concept can open up a way of looking at potential images.
