Hi Scott
Your waterfall pic is the one I like. The outcome rendering is very nice.
This is a photo that has an "I wish" element to it from my pov. I wish that I could have gotten closer, looked down into the water, without the foreground limbs and rocks and tightened up left and right. Therefore emphasizing the water shape and movement.
I would also say that this is a well done photo of static elements in the scene (even though the water is moving). Not the best way to say that but it's as if you are standing in front of a stage and done a very good job placing and balancing objects. I think it is important to notice when making that type of composition. Nothing wrong there at all. I found and find myself doing this A LOT! But becoming aware of movement in a scene/photograph is worth exploring. The concept can open up a way of looking at potential images.
Waterfalls are not something I usually do but I was having fun. I think I understand your feedback. Unfortunately this spot is fenced off so I could not get closer to avoid the limbs. In retrospect, I should have zoomed more gone a bit to the right to get more water movement. I will have to go back when its not so busy to try for more water movement. Much appreciated. Anyway, every time I shoot and get feedback I learn a bit. So thanks for the observations. Scott
