Just wanted to mention. I did try on camera flash with this and looks to work well. I'll be shooting it tonight with flash so see how it goes.

Check the camera firmware version. It will list the adapter version as well.

Nothing on Google either.

I'm guessing it's because the manufacturer can't provide reliable estimates for supplying retailers with the adapter.
Something like this shouldn't be that difficult to produce. I wonder if the production yield is too low to keep up with demand.

It doesn't make sense to take pre-orders for something that is in high demand, with regular inquiries from irritated customers about the delay, when you have no clue when it might eventually be available. IMO, of course.

I've had battery drain issues on the Contax G Techart adapter. I've wondered if the same would happen with the new Pro. Seems to be inconsistent though...

I decided to redo the test and got the same previous results.
Put a fresh battery at 9:30pm and checked it at 9:00am. Battery charge started at 100% and remained at 100% in the morning...
So, I get zero drain! Perhaps a specific adapter setting is causing drainage for some users?
It could also be a battery issue. Those having the issue, please try using a different battery.

I spoke to them about this.
They answered: "We are currently discussing with a US distributor and so we hope to have this sorted out before listing on B&H again"

I'm very interested but will wait until it's really available. Just ordered a Sony A7RII, and looking forward to using my M lenses on it. For now, it will be a MetaBones adaptor.

Early battery report update.

Vivitar 1200 mah battery - 100% after 4.5 hrs.
First battery, that showd significant drain, was a Sony 1020 mah unit.

Will try some firmware updating tests later today to see if somehow bluetooth remains enabled in some situations.

At 1:45pm, it now reads 99% (15 hours since newly charged battery installed.)

Guess I need to do a 15 hour test with a newly charged battery and no adapter attached, too

FWIW, the three battery rotation that I use, one is in the camera and the other two are topped off ready to use.

However if I don't get around to using the other two batteries for several days, often they have lost charge sitting outside the camera -- i.e., originally charged to 100%, they might only be at 80% when their rotation comes up.

I use one Sony brand and two Wasabi.

I am not noticing a lot of battery drain. It is noisy and not 100% reliable, but am looking forward to using this more.

One oddity is that there are ways of telling the camera one is using various focal lengths, but it seems to be missing 75mm.....

Version 1 firmware was chirpy but v2 and v3 I find to be very quiet. It's MUCH quieter than the Contax G AF adapter but that is mostly due to the noisy G lenses.

@Fred Miranda, I don't have an Android tablet or phone so haven't tested the beta app yet. Does it have additional focal length options?
