Beautiful shots Michael. Love all of them.
thank you...
I sold my 200vr f2 as I prefer the rendering of the 105E. Not only is it easier to carry around but more importantly I prefer the way it renders. I have also found that I prefer the look of the 105 matched to the d750 over the D810. I cannot pin point it but prefer the D750 files with the 105e
The 200 f2 is an incredible lens, and used it often for sports with the 1.4 tc. So at the end decided that I would be
much better served by the 300 2.8 for sports.

Actually, some of us prefer the 58G more than the 105E. Here's a confession made Here
Personally, I use the 58G, 35G and then 105E in that order.
I love the 58 1.4 but I don't understand how anyone would love it more than the 105E. Similar rendering but better compression and much sharper images on the 105. Other than not being able to get back far enough, how is the 58 better?

You got it right before I answered your question: focal length.
Makes no sense at all ... best mistake you've made all year! (So says the guy who bought the 200mm F2VRII off you). 😜

Love it! Picked up a TC and love how well they work together. Been busy with work but have a chance to take it up to the mountains on Monday. Glad you're enjoying the 105mm... might be my next purchase! Happy New Years everyone!
